TOOL #4- Google Tools

I am familiar with Google Docs because the students used them in Language Arts/Social Studies this past year. I think they are a fun learning tool, and I'm sure we will use them in Science this coming school year. I made a Google account, but don't have any documents to upload from home, so I'll have to practice that feature August 12th when I am back at WAIS. Google Docs have some kinks that hopefully have been corrected. I'm looking forward to talking to the LA/SS teachers more about what to expect when using Google Docs.

TOOL #3

I'm still working the kinks out of my Glogster. It's huge! Students will have a fun, creative time making theirs. My Flickr name was simple, so I know the kids will use it as an easy spelling tool. Image Chief was entertaining and consumer friendly.

TOOL #2

Students will enjoy and learn from their PLN. It's a great way to keep kids interested and creative. Teachers and students can share ideas and it's fun to read and comment on others' blogs. Blogging is a quick way to assess and stay involved.
